If you'd like to save money on your grocery bill in July, consider buying a box of food from Angel Food Ministries.
The offer is open to everyone through this nonprofit, nondenominational group - you don't have to provide any kind of income information about yourself. Just order a box and pick it up when it's ready.

There are several churches participating in the Northern Shenandoah Valley, among them:
Visit angelfoodministries.com to place your order. Orders are accepted once a month. The next order must be placed by July 24. Distribution day is July 30.
What's in the boxes?
One box of food contains about a week's worth of groceries for a family of four, or about a month's worth for a single senior citizen, according to the group's website. Angel Food Ministries has now closed down. Some of the former employees are trying to find a way to reopen, but as it stands now, AFM won't be distributing anymore.
