Attention crafters! National arts and crafts retailer Hobby Lobby will be opening later this year in the building previously occupied by Kroger at South Pleasant Valley Road and Featherbed Lane in Winchester.

The lease on the 56,000 square-foot building has been signed, according to a press release issued today by the Oklahoma-based private company. A Web search shows the company is already seeking a store co-manager for the Winchester store.

Store hours  9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The store will be closed on Sundays.

Departments will include floral, fabric, needlework, picture framing, baskets, home accets, arts and crafts, wearable art, jewelry and scrapbooking supplies.

Check out their website and Facebook page for more information.

I am overwhelmed by Hobby Lobby choices... THANK YOU for moving to Winchester, VA. I recommend this store to everyone... Now, there are two reasons to be happy for a paycheck!!!

Funny, my daughter and I were just talking about whether or not she would have to drive very far to find a Hobby Lobby. Glad to hear that she won't be disappointed. I'll send her this link.
